The Canadian Search Standards Working Group (CSSWG) compiled a glossary of 150+ terms used in the literature related to searching for health information, to develop a standard lexicon for literature searching. In addition, CSSWG developed a code of practice which, together with the list of standard definitions, facilitate coherent conversations among professionals. For each definition, a relevant source has been cited.
